If you travel to Moldova, you can count on the warm temperate climate and abundant sunshine. Moldova is called "sunny" and rightly so: there are nearly 200 sunny days a year. The average temperature is 25 C (77 F) in summer and 0 C (32 F) in winter.

This warm climate, coupled with the fertile soil, provide ideal conditions for the cultivation of various cereals and crops such as corn, sunflower, wheat, sugar beet, soy beans, tobacco, peppers, apples, tomatoes and grapes.  That’s why about 30% of the national products of Moldova fall on agriculture.
