The main wealth of Moldova, of course, are people - hard working, assiduous, hospitable and never given up. A Moldovan proverb says, "Life was worth living if you built a house, brought-up a son, planted a tree and dug a well". That’s why in the villages here there is plenty of verdure and just about everywhere you will see wells along the roads. One who wishes can stop to taste the cool fresh water. Although, I would not suggest it - a foreigner’s immunity system might give in.
Oh, and on a final note, I can’t miss not mentioning the girls of Moldova. Word of their beauty has spread to the remotest parts of the world. Honestly, walking around the city, in the summer time especially, you get the impression of being in the midst of a fashion show. You don’t believe me? If I’m wrong, I’ll buy you a banana, but if I’m right, bring a box of fine chocolate, ‘cause we all love it here. J
If you visited Moldova once, you will want to come here again, because you are going to love this beautiful country.
And we shall be very pleased to meet you here and become a good and reliable friend to you.
